I wanted to do ‘snow ice cream‘ a couple weeks ago when it last snowed, but I never got around to doing it. I didn’t think it would snow again until next year, but not only is it snowing again now, it’s a lot! About a foot, ugh! Where are you spring?!
So anyway, I went looking for the same recipe from my search before when I first planned to do this, and I found it at Gimme Some Oven.
Although next time I do this, I will probably use less sugar, cause I thought it was super-duper sweet, but the kids still loved it!
Mix all of the ingredients –besides the snow– in a bowl. Place the bowl in the fridge or freezer while you head outside to get the main ingredient.
Pour the mixture over the snow and stir together. I had a little help with mixing from Michael.
Scoop into a bowl and serve. You can add toppings like chocolate syrup or sprinkles if you’d like. I had just ran out of syrup earlier that day from making milkshakes, and the kids were impatiently waiting, so I forgot to add the sprinkles.
